AWARDED CASINOS

Jackpot City: one award, and the group it is not from

This brand carries one verifiable award and attracts two that are not its own, which makes it the clearest illustration on the site of why the three questions matter.

One word of difference, and two trophies that move with it

The content of this page is a single word, because two companies from the same era of this business (the overlap runs squarely across 2007 and 2008) had names that differ by one of them, and the awards of the first are credited across the internet to the second. One of those companies was called The Jackpot Factory, the other was called Belle Rock Entertainment, and the brand you are reading about belonged to the second.

A reader may suspect pedantry here, or an affiliate drawing distinctions nobody needs. One word of a company name is not a hair to split.

The one award this brand holds, and what kind of award it is

2019Casino.org Awards · Casino of the Year, Gold Award · Winner

Verified in the trade press · An award from an affiliate portal, decided by a public vote open for a month; the same category also carried a silver award. · we would not publish this one without the caveat above

The verifiable entry is a "Casino of the Year, Gold Award" dated 2019, given by Casino.org (a comparison portal that sells traffic to operators), and three things about its machinery belong in the same breath as its name. It came from an affiliate portal rather than from a trade body or a players' forum, it was decided by a "public vote" (open to anybody with an address, for four weeks) left open for a month, and the same category also produced a "silver award", so the gold was a ranking and not a selection.

None of that makes it worthless, and all of it changes what the trophy can be used to prove. A vote of that kind measures reach and enthusiasm; a judged category measures a panel's comparison; and the two are routinely printed in the same typeface, which is how a reader ends up misreading both.

The two awards that belong to somebody else

Casinomeister named a "Best Casino Group" in 2007 and again in 2008, and both titles went to The Jackpot Factory, a group that then held five casinos (the forum names every one of them on its page for that year): All Slots, All Jackpots, First Web, Wild Jack and The VIP Lounge. This brand was not among them, because in those years it was run by Belle Rock Entertainment, a separate company with separate licences.

We have found that pair of wins attributed to this brand on review pages, on comparison tables and in at least one encyclopedia entry (not one of which names the group that won). It is the easiest error in the whole subject to make, and the hardest to notice, since both names begin with the same word and both companies were trading in the same two years.

The check takes under a minute, which is why we would rather hand it over than ask anyone to take our word. That forum keeps one address for every edition it has ever run, so a reader can open the 2008 page, read the five brands listed under the winning group, and see for themselves which names are there.

Who runs it now, and where the licences are listed

The licence-holding company is Baytree (Alderney) Ltd, which holds the island's "Category 1" entitlement (a tier naming an operating company and never a platform), and both jackpotcitycasino.com and jackpotcity.com were printed on the official Alderney roll that we opened on 22 September 2026. Kahnawake comes through Guernsey, where Baytree Interactive Ltd holds permit 00892, confirmed by that commission's own roll of "permit holders" the same afternoon.

Those two arrangements place the brand inside the Palace group, Super Group's Spin arm, alongside several other names reviewed on this site (All Slots, Royal Vegas, Spin Casino and Gaming Club among them). Ontario is handled from a separate address altogether (jackpotcity.ca, registered provincially under Cadtree Limited), and the brand has been in business since 1998.

Two independent portals, two different answers

Here the page stops being about awards at all, because the two public readings of this brand are further apart than on any other page we have written. Casino Guru put it at eight point zero on 20 October 2026, with the "Safety Index" figure sitting inside that portal's "High" band (recomputed whenever a case closes), with eighty complaints on file, twenty-three of them "unresolved", and a note on the same card saying the operator does not respond to complaints brought through that portal.

Trustpilot, looked at on the same date, gave four point zero over 10,954 reviews, a result it files as "Great". That is the largest body of public reviews behind any brand in our set, and it is pointing in the opposite direction from the complaint file.

The honest thing is to explain the gap rather than to average it away. Averaging would destroy both. A review average counts the people who chose to write something, weighted by nothing at all; a complaint file counts only disputes that reached an adjudicator, and records what the operator did next, which is a narrower question, and a much harder one for an operator to score well on whatever you are told elsewhere.

A third reading exists and belongs beside them, since Casinomeister puts the brand in a "grey zone" of its own (neither recommended nor flagged) and has never "accredited" it. The forum making that assessment is the same forum that gave the 2007 and 2008 group awards, which is a useful reminder that a body's archive and a body's current view are two different documents!

Enforcement, and the register that does not cover it

There is no British licence behind this brand, so there is no Gambling Commission register to search for it, and that absence is a fact about jurisdiction rather than about conduct (a regulator's register holds only what that regulator licenses). Across the two that do apply, neither licensee carried a "regulatory action" entry, and we give that with the date of the search rather than as a general clearance.

One limit of our own reading belongs here too. The accredited list at Casinomeister is assembled in the browser and never returned for us, so "not accredited" on this page rests on the brand's own card at that portal and not on the list itself.

The one-word test you can apply anywhere

What you take away from this page is a habit rather than a rating, and it works on any badge carrying the adjective "award-winning" (which is an adjective, and not an award). Take the group name printed beside the trophy, put it next to the company that actually owned the site in that year (an archived footer, or the forum's own listing, will tell you), and check whether the two are the same string of words.

Here they are not, by one word, and that single word is the difference between a claim this brand can make and two that it cannot. The "Casino of the Year" gold of 2019 is real, its machinery is modest, and the two group titles everybody repeats were won by five casinos that did not include this one!

Questions

Why does the Jackpot Factory confusion happen?

Because the two names differ by one word and both belong to the same era of the business. The group that won in 2007 and 2008 contained five casinos, and this was not one of them.
