Every casino we list, awarded or not
Two kinds of card appear on this page, and the label on each says which: a brand with an award we could verify, and a brand with none that stands high on a portal publishing its method.
Ad disclosure: some casino links are affiliate links; we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never affects what a page says. 18+.

Why two labels and not one ranking
A single ordered list would have to pretend that an award and a rating measure the same quantity, and they do not: one is a preference expressed once by a panel or a vote, the other is a running account, updated continuously and visible to anybody, of what happened when players "disputed" a decision of the house. So the cards carry a label instead of a position, and the label names the kind of evidence ("a win", "a rating") behind the card.
"Awarded" means that a body published this brand as a winner in a named category in a named year, and that we opened the page and read it. "Group award" means the win belongs to the company that owned the site rather than to the site, which is a narrower claim and still a true one. "Well regarded" means no award at all, and a rating from a portal publishing its own arithmetic (the weights, and the evidence behind each deduction).
What goes into the order, and what cannot
Within each label the order follows the strength of the record, and "strength" has a specific meaning here: how many wins, at a body with how much published process, how recently, and whether the result was readable on that body's own page rather than only in a press release. A brand with two wins on an audited body's archive (one where an accountancy firm oversees the count) sits above a brand with four at a body that publishes nothing about how it judges, because the archive is what makes the first one checkable.
What does not go into the order is money, which is easy to say and worth saying anyway, given that the ordinary arrangement in this trade is the opposite one. Every card here carries a "tracked" link (one that tells the operator which site sent the visitor, and pays a commission on it); the disclosure sits at the top of every page, and the order sits outside that arrangement altogether.
The three questions, again
Which body gave it. In which category, in that body's own words. In which year. Every card below answers all three, or it carries no award line at all.
Where the cards come from, and who is missing
The brands on this page come from the set we are able to link to, which is a commercial boundary (a brand we have no arrangement with cannot appear even if its record is spotless), and we would rather name that boundary than let you discover it. Within that set, three rules decide who appears, and all three have to hold at once (two out of three removes the brand).
No independent portal may be telling players to avoid the brand; the licence must be readable in a register, with both the authority and the "licensee" (the company the permission is issued to, which is often not the name on the website); and no regulator may have named the brand in an order. Each rule removed brands that could otherwise have been listed, and that is the only way to know a rule is doing any work.
The second rule is the one that surprises, because it removes brands with perfectly good ratings. A group of nine casinos with portal scores between eight and nine carries a licence whose number and holding company the source itself marks "to be confirmed" on the operator's own site, and a card that cannot name the regulator is not doing the one job a card exists to do.
The brands that are not here, and why their absence is information
Four brands operate with no licence that any source we read could identify, and all four have been named in cease-and-desist orders by one United States regulator (the same board, in six separate orders since June 2025).
Several more sit below five on a ten-point index whose publisher advises readers, in plain words, to "steer clear" and to find a casino with a higher score, and two of those sit below one, which is a score (on a scale where nine is ordinary for a licensed house) we had not met before this project.
They are mentioned because the absence is itself a finding. A list that quietly drops a brand teaches a reader nothing. A list naming the rule hands over the rule itself, and the rule goes on working on brands nobody here has ever looked at.
Reading a card
The regulatory line under each name gives the authority and the licensee as a register writes them, and it stands where a card of this kind usually carries a "welcome offer" (the sum a casino promises a new account). There are no bonus figures anywhere on this site, for two reasons that happen to agree: in two of our markets an affiliate may not advertise one at all, and an offer ages faster than anything else on a page.
Under that line sits either an award chip or a "rating chip" (the grey one). An award chip gives the year, the body and the "category" (its exact heading, not our summary of it), in that order. A rating chip gives the figure, the scale it belongs to and the day it was read (these numbers move, and an undated one quietly turns into a falsehood).
Where a brand has both, the award comes first and the rating waits in the review. Where the two point in different directions, which happens more often than a single badge would suggest, the review says so rather than averaging them into a number that describes neither!
The one card that contradicts itself
One brand on this page holds three titles from the largest trade body in Europe and is also marked, on the brand review page of a long-running forum, as "blacklisted", with a warning about ignored player issues and advice to readers to avoid it. The same forum's aggregate list of blacklisted casinos does not include it, so two pages of one source disagree, and both appear in the review with the date each was read.
That brand kept its card and kept its contradiction, because a site arguing that an award is not a safety signal would be a strange place to hide the clearest example of it. The review sets out the three titles with their years, the forum's wording, and the complaint figures from a third source. What to make of them is a judgement, and the judgement is yours.

Questions
Is this list ordered by how good the casinos are?
No. The awarded brands come first because that is the subject of the site, and within each group the order follows the strength of the record rather than any commercial arrangement. Nothing on this page is sold.
Why is a brand with no award listed at all?
Because an award is one signal and not the only one, and a brand that has never entered a competition is not thereby worse than one that has. What those cards carry instead is a rating from a portal that publishes how it is calculated.
Which brands did you leave out, and why?
Those an independent portal tells players to avoid, those operating with no licence we could find, and those named in a regulator's cease-and-desist order. A site about recognition cannot promote a brand that the sources it quotes advise against.
